Dan, check out the website I refered to in my earlier message. Also, do a google search for the VA Compensation and Pension Bulletin May 2010. It provides the process the VA should be following on claims. It took me over a year to get approved. Yesterday I talked to the VSO Officer at my local VA and he did not have this information. He had originally given me a hard time, Boots on the Ground, etc. I told him I would file on my own, which I did. He was surprised I was acceopted and I think a bit embarrased and wanted me to bring in the documents I have mentioned. When I did he said he not seen them before and was going to start helping Thai Vets. Don't give up. The door is opening up. Also check out the Vietnam Security Police Association site, they have a lot of info.
