There was a cobra in our communal outdoor shower in the officer hootch complex. A Mama san doing laundry there killed it made soup out of it. That was in Sept 72. There was a Thai restaurant on the base that sometimes had banded kraits on the apron by it's entrance.

my father Robert Miller 355TH TFW was just talking to me yesterday about the cobra in the shower at Tahkli...the guy got off at midnight took a shower turned around and the cobra was draped across the door ..he screamed all night for help..security hear him sometime before dawn...
