I was with the 9TFS, 49TFW, from Dec 69 through Aug 72, and participated in all deployments with the unit. I can vividly recall the positive comments made by aircrew members about the way our maintainers had the F4s ready to fly as soon as they hit the ground. The maintenance folks did an outstanding job.
