teaching our children

Any advice connected to ways for the solitary practitioner to teach my young daughter the ways of my belief system? I come from a staunch Christian family who does not support my alternative belief system. I do not follow one path to enlightment as I believe there are many ways through which the universe teaches us and the key is to find the balance of all of those ways. My daughter is 8 years old and is curious. I have taken her to metaphysical bookstores with me, she has met other pagans, she has begun a collection of crystals and jemstones. I allow her to choose pieces from the places we visit by focusing on what she is drawn to. She has been introduced to the basics of meditation and has begun requesting that I turn off all electronic devices under the full moon so that she can sit in the floor with her crystals in front of her to meditate and charge her peices. And now she has asked for a wand. But I am apprehensive of teaching her more since I do not have the resources or support to feel confident that I am not steering her the wrong way. I want her to continue to grow and follow her own path and have even found that teaching her to meditate is helping her to focus through some learning difficulties she is challenged by. Sorry for the ramble... But Bob, I see that you are often very knowledgable about resources. Are there books on this topic I can consult? Or are there children's books that I can use with her that are both informative and engaging to children? She is highly observant and intelligent and I am surprised at how quickly she is learning. Any text you can reccommend is appreciated. Thank you.
