Hi In this situation I would ask the customer to pay untill warranty issues were resolved by VW. If he refuses as yours has done, I would inform him that i would be towing the vehicle in its stripped down condition to VW for them to finish the work, & then do so. I think your customer has set a precedent with you now & he will always be awkward because he knows he can push you around or try to. Loose a couple of hours labour down to experience & tow it to VW. Dont know how you could be critised down the pub as you are "helping the customer" If you took this route. |
