Having problems with the above vehicle and TPS parts.
Last August we replaced the broken dual mass flywheel and clutch on the above vehicle. All OEM parts supplied by our local TPS. The van has done 7,000 miles since. Last week the owner with the van come in complaining for a noise coming from the gearbox area. Had a quick look and find that when the clutch pedal is pressed the noise goes and when the pedal is up the noise is gone. Had the van in yesterday and removed the gearbox and find the dual mass flywheel broken up.....again. Called TPS and explained the problem and that the flywheel/clutch has been fitted less that 12 months ago and the van is done 7,000 miles since. They said that they will only cover the parts but they will not pay for the labour. Haven't spoke to the customer about it yet but I know for fact that he will not pay for any labour. Now what you guys think I should do? What I should stress too is that the guy is a builder and I think he abuses the van big time.....but I din't/can't say that .
What you guys think is the correct approach? I really wouldn't like to end up forking out for the labour.
