Rumors were that Tim's headset got suck off and when he reached for them, it took him too....
We were told there were not any engine screens available on base , many showed up the day after.
We were so under-manned all that year. After the accident, we had to have a E-5 or 6 to supervise on run-up pad...Most B-66s were C/C'd by E-4..E-3 s with higher ups names in the books.
