i was one of the medics who drove to doctor to the accident scene.i remember every vivid detail as he spoke to us whilw trying to get him extracated from the engine.i was in the ER while we workrd on him and when he passed away.i remember how indeed the mood of the base was after the tragic loss.now that i know his name and rankm i can be at peace with myself.this has haunted me all these years. i wish i coukd have sent his parents a note about the accident scene and how brave he was during the removal process.may he rest in peace.
