My name is Kim N. and my dad, Jim Harvey, was at Takhli 8/67-8/68 and at Phan Rang for the month of Dec. '67. He has Parkinson's as well and we recently filed a claim (6/19). We sent ALL of his medical records and service records (they only show he was in "SEA").
He received a letter from the VA asking for a release so they could get his medical records, and another letter asking him to send his service records!
I'm wondering if you feel comfortable sharing any information regarding how your process is going/went, and any ideas that might help? - Thank you - Kim N.
I was stationed in Takhli from 1969 to 1970 and spent a good amount of time on the flight line. I was with the 355th AMS and worked both F-105s and B66s. I have been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2015 and still waiting for a decision on my claim. I go to the Lake Nona Clinic in Orlando, Florida. excellent facility long story
