I was stationed at Takhli Thailand 1966-67. There were 4-5 F-111's sent to our air base to be tested and used in the Vietnam War. One of the planes was downed in the first several days of testing due to technical problems with the use of bombs on the rack holding the bombs on the plane. It is possible that the remaining planes were returned to a US base after the testing and or at the end of the war.

Hey everyone, first I want to say that this is a great way to connect with other veterans who have been exposed to Agent Orange.
I was a Structural Specialist at Nellis AFB. I worked exclusively on the F-111. I was exposed to something and have to have an emergency tonsillectomy in 1975 after have a strong chemical taste in my mouth. 7 years later I had to have the upper apex of my right lung removed due to a pneumothorax. Just want to know if anyone has experienced anything like this? Maybe you can help point me in the right direction for supporting documents with the case I just filed with the V.A. Any help would be appreciated. If you need more information on my condition, just reply to my post. Thank you very much.
