The map is dated 1966 and noted "Master Plan" I believe this is what Takhli probably became later.
In 1966, most of this map did not exist! The flight line and the housing around Building 100. The upper section (blow up) on some NCO hooches and only 2 airman's barracks existed in December of 1966 when I left. Yes, others were being built but most of this was just a plan. The POL area was just bladders along the main road! Munitions was much smaller and revetments on the flight line. Just planes wing tip to wing tip ready to go.
