Andrew has always had a lot of "I am the Prince" in his attitudes. He was like that even when he was at Gordonstoun. He's also been known to berate his staff in public and pitch temper fits over little things. I don't blame staff not wanting to stay with him.

I'm skeptical about Andrew having any money stashed away. If he did have the money, there wouldn't have been the debacle over that ski chalet he and Sarah bought a few years ago, nor would he have let Royal Lodge go without needed upkeep. He and Sarah have consistently lived above their means for decades. The money is gone and the Bank of Charles doesn't want to pour cash into the black hole that is Andrew's financial situation.
