Some clubs want all the credit. Some people in clubs want the credit even more.

Coaches just want the kids to reach their
Potential on and off the mat and hopefully enjoy the experience enough to give back to it.

At the end of the day, kids are paying club coaches… in some cases a lot of money. I know there are high school coaches who give their time majority of the year and the stipend goes directly into the program.

This idea that clubs do more to develop wrestlers than the coach they see everyday in the halls at school is preposterous. These are young men and women, not just wrestlers.
