Peter, we have had same problem, we used a Linconshire dealer for years, brilliant service, they where taken over as lincoln TPS and used them until we where banned by the big boss and moved us to Nottingham TPS. Who do you use now ?
The thing is I like the TPS idea, good prices, quality & delivery. The down side who else do you use for o.e VAG parts ?
This is the first issue we have had, but relates to several items in the same month. The thing that p**** me off is that I have now 4 times left messages asking that the Nott manager to call me about this to tray and resolve and he never has. I Just get a message from accounts saying he has checked and parts have not been returned. why won't he talk to me ?
I think main problem is down to poor van drivers, (who only seem to last about a month) not doing the job correctly, i.e. filling returns notes out clearly (if issued atall) and making sure returned parts are processed promptly
I have even had drivers begging for orders, telling me that if they don't generate sales from the offers sheets they will get the sack
