As soon as I saw a photo of that thank you note I thought, "Things That Didn't Happen for $400". It's such an obvious, desperate and cornball move.

Now, it's possible that one of the flight crew is a sugar and wrote the card and forged the signatures. But just how many crew members were on that flight interacting with Them? Seems like even the baggage handlers got involved.
