Harry and Meghan didn't made this "visit" purely about themselves as we know. They couldn't make about who they represent because they weren't on this visit at the behest of the UK Govt. and they're not working Royals.
They lied about the security and lied about what they would be doing in Australia. The initial explanation was the "girl's retreat" for Meghan and the mental health gathering that Harry was featured in.....it was only when they landed that the other "activities" just happened to pop up. Oh, and the SoHo House opening which was never mentioned in the press and the Sussexes must not have attended.
It was also very coincidental that this visit took place right before the observances of what would have been the late QEII's 100th birthday. This whole visit popped up out of nowhere despite their PR stating it had been in the planning for months....nonsense. They had to get in the spotlight ahead of the late Queen's birthday observance.
