Absolutely correct Nellie. I've been thinking about this. In the previous Sussex thread, a video mentioned that the possibility of the Palace being behind this trip...no, the Palace wasn't, I believe the Sussexes are behind that rumor, either that or Sunshine Sachs.
In another article in the thread, a "source" was gushing at how Harry and Meghan have proven on this visit that "Royals really can be half in and half out", the source was probably one of their staff. It was put in such a way that the Palace not only set up the visit or approved, the other impression is that the Palace has given the okay or approval for Harry and Meghan's half in/half out position. Harry's statement made it sound as if he was speaking in his "official" capacity. Which he wasn't.
I think Palace should release a statement that the Sussexes are not working Royals and their position remains in place as per the late Queen and has not changed. They are not half in/half out and the Palace was in no way involved in this trip. It won't happen, but that's my feeling. The Palace needs to clear up any doubts.
