Australia is a constitutional monarchy with a head of state who, for the time being, is the UK monarch.
We do not have a royal family.
We extend proper deference, courtesy and respect to the UK monarch (and spouse) when they visit.
This also extends to the heir (and spouse) as a courtesy.
That is all.
As regards the UK, I think it was Prince Philip who is often quoted advising a newcomer to the royal family. "It is not about you. It is about what you are representing."
