Hall sensor plug connected Volt drop live and earth under load (cranking) Check dwell centre pin (cranking) Fitted a hall sensor to a Polo a little while back. It reluctantly started but timing well retarded. Could not get to run well at all. Fitted second hand dissi...ok. Will not go down the route of fitting a sensor again. Or was I just unlucky?
