I was there 68 thru 69. We received word that Hanoi Hanna claimed that the Cong was coming over and destroying Takhli. I was a baker then and all of a sudden they put an M-16 in my hand. I and others trained throughout the perimeter of the base and on the 5th of December 1968 The Thai Kings birthday I was put on the flight line. I had a minor heart attack at the age of 31 along with diabetes II and then a major one at age 49. Now my cardiologist is telling me that it is AO. I can not find anything that tells me that they used AO even though I know they were very active clearing the perimeter. Previous Message
I was stationed at Takhli in 72-73 with the 474th,MMS,supporting with the F-111's. I am suffering with Diabetes mellitus type II and Peripheral neuropathy of the lower extremities. I was recently denied a claim for Agent Orange. I know it was used there to clear the brush and trees. I need proof, pictures or witnesses that can say it was used for my claim for VA benifits.
