I called the local va rep. yesterday and read him that CP. He told me that the rule has not changed for AO. It is still that you have to had your boots on the ground in vn. I could file but I would be wasting my time. I was a SP at Takhli 66-67. My first night at work was spent in a sandbag post at the Northwest end of the runway. Pitch black and it must of rained a foot that night. I can not remember if the jungle was dead there but I do remember later in my tour they built a road around the South end to the POL tanks on the Thi side. That place was total dead of jungle. I liked to work that Post becouse some litle girls would come by and sell me Kowpot(sp?) for five cents. I have no idea where to start with the va. I have had the AO Leukemia for three years now and things are not so good. Any advice you have I would sure thank you.
