REPUBLIC REP arrived about 11 PM, right after a Monsoon hit me while running her up at 80%, telling me > "This Bird will NEVER FLY Again! She's been Grounded, and I'm here to Canibalize Good Parts, then Cut her up into pieces". I had to Re-Create that ELECT SHORT I found inside A/C Compartment- where Condensation on bulkhead touched our Bare Wire in 2 1/2" Wire-Bundle. As I pulled bundle away - Spoilers would Retract, then Deploy each time I pushed bundle onto WET Bulkhead ! REP Asked > "How the Hell did U figure that out !?" Simply replied, Guess all the Sr. Master SGT's, and Officers that tried to DUPLICATE this CND (Can Not Duplicate) just never thought to Turn on the AIR Conditioner !" Anyway... wondering IF you recall the Tanker Trucks that Sprayed during SWING SHIFT at the TRIM PADs at least every other Night ??
