They will do whatever they want, and the media will gush about their "royal duties" and "official appearances" and "royal tours" even though none of their activities will be listed in the Court Circular.
In short, the only thing that will have changed will be their abode. They'll behave as they always have.
And Charles will continue to list them as members of the ryal family on the website, after the working royals, even though no other non-working royals are listed.
No sympathy for Charles when they bite him on the behind.
