I should add that I don't trust Harry and Meghan one bit. They've got something up their sleeves, there's some plot behind this. I don't know if Harry thinks he can get his security detail back, if they are non-working Royals, then they aren't entitled to the coverage the Royals receive. They'll still have to pay for their own security.
I smell a very large rat behind all of this.
