Yes. The occasion in March 2019 was to mark the 50th anniversary of the investiture of the then Prince Charles as the Prince of Wales. The Queen, Duke of Edinburgh and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were to view items on display from the 1969 Invesiture. Everyone else (including the Duke and Duchess of Sussex) were to wait in the main area where a performance of a Welsh Childrens Choir took place and this was followed by a Reception which Welsh charities, organisation and businesses attended.

In this video you can see the whole fiasco unfold. Both the then Prince of Wales and Duke of Cambridge were furious with them. The late Queen totally ignored them. Eventually an equerry 'escorted' them out while the other were looking at the displayed items.

According to the BBC World Service this morning, "A source stated that the couple would keep their Montecito mansion and use it as their "base" when they visit the US." It was also stated that the couple made this decision to move "just within the past several days". The info about the King just learning of the grand move this past Sunday and it was not presented to him at the visit last month. Blah, blah. Oh and of course, the King is "delighted" at the couple's decision........
The Sussex one PR person is just working tons of overtime to put out the usual mess of conflicting stories and gush. The clue for me was the statement in a previous post about after they stay for a year in the UK, they'll decide whether they want to either remain or leave the UK.......conveniently a year will end after the Invictus Games, well, a little bit later. This is all PR to try to raise a lot of money for IG and get more sponsorship and have Pa appear with Harry at the IG. If this all happens, we know that they hike it back to sunny Cali next year because the UK "didn't change it's racist attitudes toward my wife and children. We've been treated horribly and I feared for my family's lives," Blah, blah.

She'll get the marital home in California, use of the property in Portugal when he's not there and an allowance for half the time they were married. So if they make it to seven years, she'll get 3 1/2 years of alimony. That would be according to California law. The children would be a separate set of agreements set by family court.
