and what people see when they go to the CSULB site https://www.csulb.edu/
it conveys to me CSULB is a 'free for all'. that's what that conveys to me
does not convey excellence
does not convey goals
does not convey opportunity
does not convey scholarship or scholastic achievement
does not convey pride
I'm still not sure what it conveys, but I'm sure Jane would have some explaination - but then even having to explain the PRIMARY objective when one has confused the mass audience. lol, just smh at Jane and her dismal ability and leadership
please resign Jane, there is No Barrier currently to you resigning; none, zilch, nada. Just do it!
is that decision puts fund-raising under the CFO, whereas other find-raising & alumni relations reports thru a different organization
IOTW, Jane has zero coherent strategy/organizatino in fund-raising/development, lol
last AD strategic plan was circa 2009-2010 I believe, lol
will have to see how the new Big Two (Montoya & Apel) navigate development.
we currently have a campaign that violates the very premise of marketing, i.e., the use of negative words, in this case No in outreach. No Barriers, while it seems nice, violates the fundamental tenants of Marketing, lol, using No & Barriers - two negative connotative words. smh and lmao as whoever came up with that one. what happens when people don't know what they are doing.
'Excellence & Opportunity' vs. 'No Barriers'
see the difference!
what in hades does No Barriers convey, I've never understood. whoever coined that should have been fired
Apel is a multi-degree Beach alum, so at least better (one would think) decision making in the hands of those vested in the Beach past vs. Jane's UCSB cronies. You know, that University that Jane came from that was and is much less diverse than the Beach.
Reporting to a CFO vs to the university president is exactly why the pool of candidates was less than desired.
