Re: Agent Orange & Herbicide claim
Been working on my claim since May 2012. Put in for Herbicide and AO exposure for prostate, hearing, and a few other things. Was at Takhli from 69-70, doppler and Inertial Nav. So far I received 10% for hearing backdated to May. Nothing for my softball sized prostate that the VA operated on in Boston, no cancer found so far. Today I received a personalized benefit book and it described my "unique eligibility factors" as 10% hearing and also "determined to be a Vietnam-era herbicide-exposed Veteran". Herbicide exposure seems to be the key phrase. I have been told by the VA doctor that if cancer does show I will get compensation at 100% without any problem. Not sure what to make of all this so far but seems promising. Has anyone else seen the herbicide phrase used?
