I attended Gonzaga Preparatory High School last night as a fan of the sport and member of the HS sports community. No dog in the fight for either school. I attended because I know how talented both programs are in talent. Incredible.

I left disgusted in the lack of sportsmanship of the Gonzaga Prep athletes. It was something I have never seen in watching HS sports for 30 years. As a member of the Jesuit community, I was embarrassed. It was gross and disappointing. They are very talented wrestlers, but actions speak loudly. The coach did nothing to correct the behavior, but an Administrator on site seemed bothered. Ironically, this is really the first time Gonzaga has been formidable in the past 20 years. The coach should re-evaluate the Jesuit values of the institution and hold his athletes to that standard.
