When brackets are released, remember that each bracket is seeded by criteria in Trackwrestling, and this is different from past years when wrestlers were placed on the bracket based on their finish at Regionals.

Track takes each wrestler and compares them to the other wrestlers in the bracket. Someone will earn a point against the others based on the criteria. This information was given to coaches prior to the season.

Seeding criteria shall be based on varsity results listed in TrackWrestling from the entire season.
--Head to Head record between the two wrestlers this season
--Highest winning percentage versus common opponents this season
--Highest returning Washington State Tournament place from previous year
--Winner of qualifying tournament this season
--Most varsity wins this season
--Most wins in previous Washington State Tournament
--Wrestlers are still tied, each receives a ½ point

Each wrestler will be seeded by the number of points earned.
