While I see why the bracket is set up this way based on points, it does seem unfortunate that the two strongest wrestlers will meet in the semifinals rather than the finals. Additionally, considering that one of the seeded wrestlers competed up most of the season while Winter has consistently wrestled at 110, it raises questions about whether the current seeding process fully reflects competitive performance.
Regardless of the outcome between Winter and Camryn, it’s disappointing that one of them will be pushed into a third-place match when they’ve already decisively beaten the second seed. It’s a tough situation, and I appreciate you taking the time to discuss it.
