Same boat- waited too long to register my 8th grader. I emailed Justin suggesting eliminating the high school and open divisions at WSWA Folkstyle State. I get there is limited entry for this event, but I don't think taking away opportunities at a "state" tournament for youth (8th grade down), is a good for the sport. Maybe it is an unpopular opinion, but I see no value for high school kids or adults. Expand the tournament, let the youth wrestle. Right now a WSWA folkstyle state place winner comes with an asterisk.
