Based on my experience, most people like a well run tournament that has a set number of participants so it doesn't run until 12am.

Otherwise everyone complains on the other side.

Like I already said, let the natural consequences occur. Miss this year, and go to a couple of National tournaments, or maybe even go to a couple of out of State camps to challenge your child.

My guess is you won't miss the next registration.
