Hi Nick, I think you'll find there is no particular standard as to where the immobiliser cuts are made, as it's pretty much down to the tech that's doing the job. In my experience all the cuts can be done behind the glovebox. I hope that's diplomatic enough for a post when I should probably be sending you a PM.
