Finally got this one fixed this afternoon Many thank to Tony Sefton for the insight into alternator warning lamp testing, (i gave him a call) saved me quite a bit of time Fitted a replacement Bosch alternator, but still a slight problem when started, light would go out, but after 20 seconds it would start to glow, but only dim As Tony suggested, this could be a problem with the warning lamp circuit. Having noticed the wiring loom a bit green under battery/abs unit i followed it along and it was getting wetter, pulled the loom and bung out of bulkhead and half a gallon of water ran out. Let it all drain out, and restarted, light stayed off Thanks for all the help Peter
