Could be your lucky day, I used to run one of those many moons ago and I still have a substantial amount of BMW workshop manual info, I am quite happy to send it to you by carrier as long as it comes back. E mail me your details and I will sort it out.
p.s/ My 2002 tii had a speed limiter fitted years before anyone else thought of it, the glass sun roof had 'overcentre' catches holding it down, at exactly 130 mph the interior pressure used to lift the sun roof clear of the seal, the wind noise was horrendous, first time it happened I thought the roof had blown off, end of reminiscing--time for a pint.
