    Hi Russ, Also I would make sure that the customer is prepared to carry on and pay for the job once you have diagnosed it, The VW dashes are very complicated to see what is actually wrong when you get them in bits, sometimes with 2 printed circuiits on top of each other, they are also a fortune to replace unless you can find a used one, so cover your back and see how much they are prepared to spend. ( My 2004 moto )
