Hi clive, I can't remember if the big sender does the gauge or not, but I think it does, you can check it like a normall car using a test lamp, clip test lamp to earth, and the probe into each wire untill the gauge reads, p.s, someone may be able to you the colour of the wire for the gauge, p.s we have done the odd one that has had bad connections in the plug and just needed cleaning and tightening.
