Hello Paul, With this year , it should re-mobilise once the key is inserted into the ignition barrel. The battery drain problem is usually caused by stray signals being picked up by the alarm receiver & waking up the body control module(same as MFU), which powers up various items. If you can't get the EKA to g o in , then the usual cause is that the micro switches in the door lock are faulty & it won't recognise the moment of the lock,. in which case you will need to substitute it with another, but as I already said this year vehicle should re-mobilise when the key is iserted into the barrel. After you have re-charged the battery & re-fitted it , you may find that things will start working as they should. Hope this helps , regards , Andrew
