Hi Paul, Had exactly the same problem the other day but this one was a bit earlier (circa 1996) so I do not know if it is the same system. Anyway, this had a message on the dash-board saying that the car was immobilised or words to that effect. Got the re-sync info from a good friend of mine (you know who you are Dave!) and tried to cure the problem. Because the doors would not lock/unlock to carry out the process I had to leave it with him. Anyway, RAC turned up next day and found that the immo problem was due to a "poor" battery negative connection. I believe that the customer changed the battery and left off another earth connection. So, worth checking the obvious before delving too deep. If you want the re-sync sequence, then let me know. Regards Pete M
