Quote Kevin Apps "Can we agree on one fact these teves unit have a design fault." Quote Sean Mc Gettigan "The bigger problem for us here is that anyone who is technically capable or qualified to work on ABS has the problem of liability to answer IF there ever was an incident with the repaired car. Basically you have advised the owner (who is not qualified or aware of the ABS ins + outs) to have this repair done so the liability is with you." What happens if you put these two together? Eg - as professionals we know there is a problem with standard units and we know there is a possible improvement to the unit by modification. Should we be held liable IF there was an accident with a standard system that could have been made more reliable by modification and we had not advised this to be done? Surely it would be wrong for a professional to advise that a new unit with a known design fault should be fitted! Graham
