Hi Kevin Here's my view on it 'How do you guys view this ? would you fit one ?' NO I know some will bring up the safety issue,s of a non stadard repair, but what is worst a car with the ABS light on that the customer still drives due to cost OR a repair that WORKS. ' Thats only a small part of the issue I think. 1 Alot of owners will not even bother getting the ABS light fixed until it fails the MOT so that takes care of the issue of driving it. 2 The bigger problem for us here is that anyone who is technically capable or qualified to work on ABS has the problem of liability to answer IF there ever was an incident with the repaired car. Basically you have advised the owner (who is not qualified or aware of the ABS ins + outs) to have this repair done so the liability is with you. Now if some DIY muppet or 'expert from the pub' was to do this then that might be differant as they dont know any better but any professional doing it would be wide open to getting in MAJOR trouble IF anything went wrong! Thats the world we live in I'm afraid. Regards Sean
