Hi all, I was called out to this one earlier, battery flat so the customer jump started it (the leads were the right way round) but it still would not start.I fitted a new battery, with booster connected to the jump start poles under the bonnet so it didn't loose total power. New battery fitted and still no start, only have handbrake and air bag lights on instrument cluster, radio, wipers, lights, windows all working. Fault codes retrieved from the engine ecu,4A56 power management battery,4A66 power management vehicle electrics,4A35,4A37,4A38,4A48 intelligent battery sensor,3EED power management closed circuit current violation. All fuses ok,i have located a small 2 pin connector at the positive battery terminal in the boot which has no power coming out of either pin,i think this might be a surge protector but not sure. Any ideas out there or anyone come across this before ?? Thanks for any help.
