Hi Phill battery disconnect does'nt always cure the problem it requires fuse 4 under bonnet removing & cycling ignition switch, replace & immobilizer fault disapears & engine starts. I have just had a lengthy conversation with a top Citroen tech. He suggested way forward was to carry out BSI up-date and if not cured then replace key comms unit. Vehicle is booked with dealer for BSI up-date, will keep everyone posted if we get a result. Trouble is we dont know how long it takes for the problem to arise. Speak with you soon! John Kennard
