    Hi Paul, the L is the warning lamp and the DFM is the ECU control.Dont supply the DFM terminal with anything!
    I work near Glasgow airport and get alot of these faulty (high mileage).About half the time its the clutch drive in the pulley thats faulty not the alternator.Had to renew the main supply from the battery to the alternator on one, also fitted two faulty new QH units on one taxi in ten days.
