Thanks for the advice chaps. I used the workshop of a very local garage (John Kyte's) which was nice and warm with all the right tools etc. It took about 4 hours and an hour of that was trying to get the new top 'O' ring back on with my finger tips, upside down and blind! I followed the instructions from Rangerovers.net (link below) and Thanks Steve for the screwdriver advice... very critical not to chew up the head of the screw! Orangy Pink OATS antifreeze used to refill. Pressure tested before it was put back together and no leaks! But it still smells of antifreeze when it gets warm. Just hope its the wet carpet drying out???? Thanks again. Andy
