    All the above posts sound very posible for the fan not working on slow speeds, Although the ecu is capable of switching the fan on at least on high speed, ( because it works when the temp sender is unplugged ) So what about the Communication problem, ? As Ideally if you could get communication You could then go through live data and actuator tests,
    Where is the Ecu situated on this model. ? Is it in the same place as the diesel in a plastic box in the nearside bulkhead, ? If so it could have suffered from Water damage. ?
