    I believe Rover 75s have a cooling fan ECU mounted close to the fan motor and in fact sold as a unit with the fan motor.Unfortuneately to replace this means stripping out much of the front end including the bumper.This ECU controls the slow speed fan operation for AC (working on your car) and full speed operation for engine cooling(not working on your car).If you are a 'Car Mechanics' reader,there is a detailed article on this subject by Peter Simpson in the Nov 2005 edition.HTH
