Hi John, Code 17965 means controlled boost pressure has been exceeded (positve boost deviation). On a VNT(Variable nozzle Turbo) the most likely cause will be the turbo itself sticking. these turbos can be stripped and cleaned but invariabley will be back again in 6 months. Best course of action is a new turbo. Incidently Garret state these turbos are non servicable and therefore not reconditionable. Hope this helps, Mike
