Hi All, I have a problem with a body shop owners wifes car, intermittantly losing power and generating the following codes 17965/P1557, charge pressure limit control exceeded, fault codes generated via Vagcom and snap on scanner, owner replaced maf, I cleaned and tested EGR which was well coked up, all vacuum hoses check out, as does wastegate control,ie introduce vacuum and servo unit pulls wastegate to max, N75 pressure control soloniod substituded, and road tested over a week by the owner, still no differece so swapped original to the egr control to rule this out, each time generates the same code, which clears at time of test, have checked archives, Tony Sefton and Brodie Orford had similar problems, cured in different ways, I have pulled pipes off Turbocharger to visually inspect for contamination but all are spotless, Autodata refer to a Map sensor being inside the ECU, does anybody know if this is the case, going back to vehicle Wed of the this coming week.
