Central locking works fine on the key but not from the remote fob.

Batteries changed on fob, LED flashes when button is pressed.

However, there is no comms with the central locking via VCDS. According to autodata, this model should have the controller as part of the fusebox. The main fuse is intact.

There are no fault codes.

I have tried to web search the issue but have found nothing relevant, Any suggestions as to where to go from here??
